Highland Vibrance: Ethiopia Sidamo Oromia
This specialty selection originates from the fertile highlands of the Oromia region, a landscape renowned for producing some of Ethiopia’s most expressive coffees. Cultivated at staggering elevations between 1,900 and 2,100 meters above sea level, the heirloom cherries ripen slowly in a cool, high-altitude tropical climate. This extended maturation process, fueled by nutrient-rich volcanic soil, allows the beans to develop a profound sweetness and the sophisticated, vibrant acidity characteristic of Strictly High Grown (SHG) coffees.
The cup opens with a bright and refreshing clarity, led by a distinct bouquet of lime and lemongrass. As the experience unfolds, delicate floral notes emerge, adding a layer of elegance that is perfectly rounded off by a smooth, comforting finish of vanilla. Meticulously washed to highlight its high-altitude terroir, this Sidamo Oromia offers a lucid and balanced profile that captures the very essence of southern Ethiopian specialty coffee.
